STARRY NIGHTS

A great family night, no father will miss the opportunity to view  through telescopes.

Due to the popularity and appeal of this evening, many schools are now booking their sixth year.

All evenings start with a 20  minute slide show that is based on what we will be observing.
The show is done outside, either on butcher paper on a wall or on a projection screen.
Doing the show outside creates a more festive atmosphere and gives
the people on line something to watch.

The number of telescopes are matched to the attendance.
For up to 200 attendees, we bring 6 telescopes including our giant telescope.
200-400
attendees, brings 12   telescopes, including two giant telescopes.   600-1000+, brings in additional  giant telescopes.

Many schools precede the star party with assemblies.
This is beneficial in 2 ways.
Because the kids get "wired" at the assemblies, the star party attendance is almost always larger.
An even greater benefit is that having learned about what they will be looking  at in the assemblies,
seeing it is a much more powerful and meaningful experience.
Because star parties are weather dependent, they can be rescheduled up until 10: AM the morning of the event at no cost.
