This is a narrative adventure as told through the eyes of our "catstronaughts", our kitties look through a telescope, decide to become astronaughts, and dream of visiting the planets and deep space. This format has proven to be very succesful in catching the attention of the little ones, who always ask if our kitties really went to space and walked on the moon.  K-2  goes through the solar system , our galaxy and ends with a 4 minute video about the space station as narrated by Snoopy, Peanuts and the gang.. This is a 45 minute presentation

We have a 20 minute version of this program that has been customized for afternoon kindergardeners that are unable to attend the AM assembly.

Grades 3-6 . Standard assembly. .Covers the life cycle of stars, video clips vividly illustrate the processes involved. The  solar system is  traversed   transitioning into deep space, galaxies and black holes.Current information gathered by the   interplanetary probes are included as they are published. The  assembly  ends with an IMAX video clip on galactic formation. This is a 55 minute presentation. I also discuss all planned future space missions, including, manned lunar stations, and the planned manned missionn to Mars. The pool for these expeditions will come from our elementary students of today, which makes it all the more important that they know and get excited about the opportunities that await them.
